I'll be returning from Minnesota this morning. Home to an E-week. I'll be on the Kojo Nnamdi Show with visual artist Sam Gilliam tomorrow at Noon. Tune in to WAMU radio. We will be talking about the state of the arts in DC. This week I'll turn my attention to IPS and Provisions. Nothing like board work to keep a person busy. I have a stack of books to read - summer reading already here. I'll spend the week sending poems out and trying to determine what to do with some book projects. Copies of my memoir THE 5th INNING are almost gone.
There is some talk about a paperback edition. If we go this route then I might add an extra chapter or inning.
Well time to check out of The Hotel Minneapolis, a sweet place to stay if you're every heading this way.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund who is facing attempted rape charges in Manhattan, announced his resignation late Wednesday night.

In a statement, Strauss-Kahn said he is resigning "with infinite sadness" and in an effort "to protect this institution."
